Chicago's FIFA win's out over OptX 2-1 in M4:2

On Wednesday, Chicago's "Eafra" was able to win out over Stermy in the last half for a total score of 2-1. Since neither team was able to save the demos of the match, we asked Stermy to tell us about the match in his own words...


Stermy's Recount:
Going up against Eafra I decided to go with my secondary team England but with a 4-3-3 formation and not the usual 3-4-3. This because Eafra and I dont really have a good connection and I knew the match was going to have quite a bit of delay. I wanted to make sure that if I made some mistakes in my defense, I had 3 other men there to back it up - - and in the end it was the right decision to take since it was really hard to control the players in the field despite losing my lovely wings in the midfield.

Eafra started the match with good ball possesion while I tryed different long balls to go over his defense, and the first half endup with a 0-0 score.
Second half we both played a more aggressive game, with Eafra doing a good job keeping the ball away and me with a solid defense and Counter attack. In the middle of the match I managed to have a good breakaway and pass the ball in the goalkeeper area where Owen tapped in making the score 1-0 in my favour.

The ball was going back and forth from the side of the fields when Eafra finds a open kaka and shoots in a nice goal. 1-1.
In the end I had a few occasions for close down the match which unfortunately didn't conclude and on injury time (90') he managed to cross in for kaka and get a rebounced off my keeper and tap in the ball for a 2-1 score.
